Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical & Electrical Manager to join our team at Txm Recruit Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating property refurbishment and building works, ensuring all maintenance and mechanical works are completed to a satisfactory standard and within a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate property refurbishment and building works to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of Supervisors and contractors to ensure all maintenance and mechanical works are completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with suppliers, raise and approve purchase orders and invoices, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Manage a safe and compliant environment, adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with all regulations across all trades.
  • Maintenance Management: Manage preventative maintenance and attend to reactive calls and general building maintenance works at properties.
  • Performance Management: Manage the Property team in all aspects, including appraisal, development, training, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical/heating and ventilation systems, and electrical systems.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent mechanical qualifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good working knowledge of all aspects of residential property management.
  • Ability to produce written reports, plans, and operational procedures in clear concise language.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
