Interim Director of Fundraising & Communications

Rm Recruit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interim Director of Fundraising & Communications to join their client's team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a wide range of innovative charitable income generation strategies across various fundraising channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income and achieve the charity's goals.
  2. Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, trusts, and foundations.
  3. Develop and implement a marketing and communications plan to raise awareness and engagement with the charity's work.
  4. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
  5. Conduct regular audits and reviews of fundraising and communication activities to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  6. Develop and implement a pipeline of restricted and unrestricted income to support the charity's goals.
  7. Represent the charity at meetings and events, as required.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role that requires some presence in the Leicestershire Head Office and will have a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working at a senior level to develop and implement innovative charitable income generation strategies.
