About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Regional Fundraising team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society, supporting individuals living with and affected by dementia.

Your role will involve engaging with our supporters in a variety of ways, such as attending events, managing collections, participating in cheque presentations, and running information stands. You will have the opportunity to tailor your role to fit your interests and schedule, making it a flexible and rewarding experience.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will gain insights into dementia while contributing to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition. You will have training and support from a Role Manager and be connected to a friendly and passionate team of Regional Fundraisers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and is willing to spare a few hours to support our cause. If you are enthusiastic, motivated, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with supporters to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society
  • Attend events, manage collections, and participate in cheque presentations
  • Run information stands and promote our cause in the community
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Fundraising team to achieve fundraising goals
