About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Regional Fundraising team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society in Leicestershire.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with our supporters in the local community, identifying potential new supporters and building brand awareness. You will also assist our supporters in raising funds through various activities such as events, cheque presentations, and bucket collections.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into dementia while contributing to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition. You will receive training and support from a Role Manager and be connected to a friendly and passionate team of Regional Fundraisers.

With over 5,600 people living with dementia in Leicestershire, your role will be instrumental in providing Help and Hope to those in need. You will be responsible for connecting with the community, raising vital funds, and increasing awareness of our cause.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with local community supporters to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society
  • Identify potential new supporters and build brand awareness
  • Assist supporters in raising funds through events, cheque presentations, and bucket collections
  • Gain insights into dementia and contribute to fundraising efforts
  • Receive training and support from a Role Manager
  • Be connected to a friendly and passionate team of Regional Fundraisers
