Primary School SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join our inclusive primary school in Birmingham. This full-time role focuses on working within our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision, supporting pupils with a range of SEND.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, preparation, and assessment for students with SEND.
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development through collaborative teamwork.
- Attending Parents' Evenings and meetings as directed by the Headteacher to ensure open communication with parents and carers.
- Collaborating with the school team to develop strategies that support SEND pupils and promote inclusivity.
- Maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Teacher Reference Number (TRN).
- Ideal experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs, is beneficial.
- A commitment to inclusive education and understanding the specific needs of pupils with SEMH is essential.
- Able to work full-time and take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
