Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing genetic counselling to patients and their families, including risk assessment, genetic testing, and interpretation of results.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in genetic counselling and applying this knowledge to practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or a related field.
- Registration with the Genetic Counsellor Registration Board (GCRB) or equivalent.
