SEN Nursery Teacher Opportunity

We are working with a Nursery school in Brent to recruit an experienced SEN Nursery Teacher who can join their team in September 2024 for a supply position. This role offers the chance to work alongside a group of committed professionals who are passionate about ensuring the educational success and future prospects of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Comply with the schools' policies and implement them reliably.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting with SEN.
  • Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Experience working with SEND is essential.
