About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Head Chef to join our team at Zizzi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to the kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Menu Knowledge and Execution: Have a thorough understanding of the menu and be able to execute dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Shift Planning and Delegation: Plan and manage shifts, delegating tasks to the team to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer Service and Quality: Work closely with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Restaurant Maintenance and Standards: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant, ensuring that all areas meet the company's standards and policies.
