Job Title: Audit Committee Chair

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Audit & Risk Committee at Diocese of Chichester.

This role requires a strong understanding of finance and risk management principles, ensuring compliance with the Cathedrals Measure 2021 and the Cathedral Constitution and Statutes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Audit & Risk Committee in reviewing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective risk management strategies are implemented.
  • Oversee the implementation of audit recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and an understanding of the Cathedrals Measure 2021.

Requirements:
  • Recent and relevant finance experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Cathedrals Measure 2021 and the Cathedral Constitution and Statutes.

Salary: £52,500 - £62,500 per annum.
