About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Community Services team. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with complex mental health presentations.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology. They will also have experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments in adult services and teaching, training, and supervision.

The role involves working within multi-disciplinary teams to provide a range of psychological interventions, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy. You will be expected to become proficient in the delivery of one or more specialist evidence-based psychological interventions and contribute to the management and running of these therapeutic programmes.

We are looking for someone who is competent and experienced in delivering psychological assessments and interventions, capable of assessing and managing clients and situations at high risk. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Person Specification

  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology
  • Experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments in adult services
  • Experience in teaching, training, and supervision
