About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological services to adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health presentations.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy, to individuals and groups.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and support to service users.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services, including training and supervision of junior staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • HCPC registration and experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment of complex mental health presentations.
  • Postgraduate training in an evidence-based and specialist psychological treatment, preferably DBT or Schema Therapy.
  • Experience in teaching, training, and supervision, as well as conducting neuropsychological assessments in adult services.
