Job Title: Housing Digital Systems Manager

Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in the public sector? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a Housing Digital Systems Manager to lead their digital transformation journey.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and forward-thinking individual with a strong background in systems management to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a lead contact between the Housing Digital Systems team and service managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Ensure the efficient and strategic utilisation of line of business applications to support business processes, driving innovation and change.
  3. Embrace agile methodologies and user-centred approaches to drive digital transformation and improve usability and consistency.
  4. Oversee the relationship with the council's line of business system suppliers to ensure compliance and effective system management.
  5. Maintain a clear roadmap for the system, incorporating patches, upgrades, and improvements to ensure optimal system performance.
  6. Coordinate and oversee the delivery of requests, projects, and changes to line of business systems, ensuring minimal disruption to system users.
  7. Establish and maintain a network of key system users for each system, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  8. Work collaboratively with other disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance and the improvement of usability and consistency.
  9. Develop and advocate service management best practices for the digital systems team, driving excellence in system management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Advanced knowledge of workflow-based ICT line of business systems, including system administration functions.
  2. Familiarity with national data and information frameworks as set out by government departments.
  3. Understanding of GDPR and role-based security needs for managing line of business systems.
  4. Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  6. Effective team management and leadership skills.
  7. Experience in delivering transformation and change within systems and processes.
  8. Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in line of business systems management.
