Housing Digital Systems Manager

Adecco is seeking a skilled Housing Digital Systems Manager to lead the digital transformation journey of a leading public sector organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and strategic utilisation of line of business applications to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a lead contact between the Housing Digital Systems team and service managers to drive collaboration and innovation.
  2. Embrace agile methodologies and user-centred approaches to drive digital transformation and improve system usability.
  3. Oversee the relationship with line of business system suppliers to ensure compliance and improve system consistency.
  4. Maintain a clear roadmap for the system, incorporating patches, upgrades, and improvements to ensure seamless system operation.
  5. Coordinate and oversee the delivery of requests, projects, and changes to line of business systems to meet business needs.
  6. Establish and maintain a network of key system users for each system to ensure effective system utilisation.
  7. Work collaboratively with other disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance and improve system usability.
  8. Develop and advocate service management best practices for the digital systems team to drive excellence.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Advanced knowledge of workflow-based ICT line of business systems, including system administration functions.
  2. Familiarity with national data and information frameworks as set out by government departments.
  3. Understanding of GDPR and role-based security needs for managing line of business systems.
  4. Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  6. Effective team management and leadership skills.
  7. Experience in delivering transformation and change within systems and processes.
  8. Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in line of business systems management.
