Principal Sustainability Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Environmental Consultant to join our team at AECOM. This role involves providing expert advice on environmental impact assessments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including energy generation, distribution, and transmission, as well as transportation infrastructure and regeneration projects. As an Infrastructure Environmental Consultant, you will have the ability to work across multiple consenting regimes, from DCO to hybrid Bills, and collaborate with technical experts to improve environmental outcomes.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs, as well as excellent project management skills, including programming, staff resource management, and budget management. They will also have a degree in a relevant environmental discipline, such as environmental science or ecology, and an appropriate professional membership.
