Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Principal Sustainability Specialist to join our team at AECOM. This role involves providing expert environmental inputs to large-scale development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including energy generation, distribution, and transmission, as well as carbon capture and storage, and transportation infrastructure. As a Principal Sustainability Specialist, you will have the ability to work across multiple consenting regimes, from DCO to hybrid Bills, and collaborate with technical experts to improve environmental outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs, as well as excellent project management skills, including programming, staff resource management, and budget management. They will also have a degree in a relevant environmental discipline, such as environmental science or ecology, and an appropriate professional membership.
