The role of a Community Carer has many misconceptions, but those new to care often find it to be a rewarding career path. The day-to-day duties of a Community Carer include:
- Visiting clients in their own homes using your own vehicle
- Helping Premier's clients achieve their desired outcomes from our services
- Assisting with personal care such as washing and showering
- Cooking and serving meals and drinks
- Administering medications
- Supporting with daily living tasks
- Recording visits live using our digital care planning system
To succeed in this role, you will need to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in their own homes.
- Deliver high-quality care that meets the needs and preferences of each client
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full UK driving license
- High personal values that align with our own and those of your colleagues
- A professional approach to completing our training and ongoing development programs
