About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Children's Community Nursing Team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the existing Children's Community Nursing Team in carrying out a range of clinical activities, including holistic assessments and care planning for children with complex needs.
  • Utilize clinical judgement to formulate care plans based on assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to children and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve care outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in clinical psychology.
  • Paediatric nursing qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
