Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is an innovative and committed recruitment agency, dedicated to providing exceptional support services for young people. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team in Welshpool.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,474 - £24,783 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

  • To contribute to the maintenance and provision of a high quality therapeutic community residential service for young people.
  • To work within the framework of good practice as set out in the Amberleigh Care Staff handbook and training materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To provide safety, security, and support to young people.
  2. To be involved in the direct delivery of services to the young people in accordance with the aims of Amberleigh Care.
  3. To assist the Management team in achieving the aims set out within the policy of the organisation and in accordance with statutory requirements.
  4. To ensure that Amberleigh Care and environs are kept clean and tidy.
  5. To participate in the out-of-hours on-call system, providing telephone and occasional physical support to team members.

Requirements:

  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Willingness to undergo regular supervision and appraisals.
