Senior Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our tendering team at our Derby office, with the option to work from home. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and be responsible for creating commissioning proposals and programs for waste and water treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with a team of multi-disciplined engineers, providing technical support, specialist advice, and viable option evaluations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your initiative to drive project success.
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements from project documents and outline scope information.
- Contribute to the development of commissioning strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to formulate and evaluate solutions, ensuring the overall proposal meets client needs.
- Identify and list interfaces with other third-party equipment, developing a commissioning plan that minimizes reliance on temporary plant and workarounds.
- Estimate resources required and potential duration for commissioning stages, reviewing and endorsing project programs.
