Senior Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our tendering team at our Derby office, with the option for hybrid working.

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and be responsible for creating commissioning proposals and programs for waste and water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with a team of multi-disciplined engineers, providing technical support and specialist advice.
  • Work independently with limited supervision, utilizing your initiative to drive project success.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client requirements from project documents and outline scope information.
  • Contribute to the development of commissioning strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and devising methods to minimize reliance on temporary plant and workarounds.
  • Identify and list interfaces with other third-party equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Develop a commissioning plan that ensures minimal disruption to clients' operational equipment and plant performance.
  • Estimate resources and duration for commissioning stages, reviewing and endorsing project programs.
