Lead Speech and Language Therapist for Primary Schools in Hackney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead our provision for primary schools in Hackney. As part of our dynamic team, you will work closely with senior staff to deliver innovative models of working, providing comprehensive services within primary and secondary schools, alternative provisions, and FE colleges.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role, utilising your extensive knowledge of clinical conditions and assessment tools to support a range of partners and multi-disciplinary teams. You will have the ability to lead a small team, negotiate, problem-solve, and resolve conflicts effectively.

You will be supported via robust clinical supervision and have access to excellent continuing professional development opportunities. We embrace flexible working and consider applicants who wish to work part-time.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • In-depth experience in relevant specialist areas, including active networking with other specialists regionally and nationally
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to SLT students and instigating and managing change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including observation, listening, tact, persuasion, and empathy skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with children, parents, and colleagues
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is £54,500-£69,875, depending on experience.
