We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in mainstream schools. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy packages to children with speech, language, or communication needs.

About the Role

In this role, you will work directly with children, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans. You will also be responsible for training and supporting school staff and parents on how to implement therapy advice effectively.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of the service and help us achieve our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will also participate in quality governance, audits, and projects to ensure we provide high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy packages to children with speech, language, or communication needs.
  • To train and support school staff and parents on how to implement therapy advice effectively.
  • To work directly with children, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
  • To contribute to the development of the service and help us achieve our KPIs.
  • To participate in quality governance, audits, and projects to ensure we provide high-quality services to our clients.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who has:

  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and licensure to practice.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Experience of working in a mainstream school as a therapist, teacher, or learning support assistant.
  • Knowledge of national policies and procedures relevant to school-age children with speech, language, or communication needs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience. Our team provides a supportive and collaborative environment where you can grow and develop your skills. We also offer opportunities for professional development, including training, mentorship, and supervision.
