Operational Meteorology Professional

We are seeking an experienced Operational Meteorology Professional to join our team at the Met Office. As a key member of our operational meteorology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality weather forecasting services to our customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Interpreting real-time weather information to deliver accurate and timely forecasts to customers
- Providing expert advice on weather-related impacts to support customer operations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop new forecasting capabilities and ways of working
- A strong background in meteorology, preferably with experience in operational forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality services to meet customer needs
- An estimated salary of up to £46,974 per annum, including a range of benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and unsocial hours allowance
