We are looking for a highly skilled Weather Forecasting Expert to join our team at the Met Office. As a key member of our operational meteorology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality weather forecasting services to our customers across the UK.
About the TeamYou will be part of a dedicated team of meteorologists who work together to provide accurate and timely weather forecasts to our customers. We are a collaborative and supportive team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Key Skills and Qualifications- A degree in meteorology or a related field, preferably with a strong background in forecasting
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences
- An estimated salary of up to £46,974 per annum, including a range of benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and unsocial hours allowance
