Assistant Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Management Accountant with key month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

As a skilled accountant, you will prepare financial reports, conduct detailed financial analysis, and maintain up-to-date financial records. You will also play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing robust financial controls across the group.

The ideal candidate is part qualified ACCA/CIMA and has equivalent experience, proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills. They should possess excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and best practice approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Management Accountant with month-end processes, including financial reporting and analysis
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and budgets
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed
  • Participate in financial analysis and forecasting activities
