Job Summary
As a highly specialist clinical psychologist or experienced psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing timely and effective mental health support to healthcare staff in Greater Manchester who have been affected by critical incidents or traumatic events in the workplace. About the Role
You will be part of a specialist psychological team that delivers high-quality mental health services across five boroughs of Greater Manchester - Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, and Tameside and Glossop. As a senior clinician, you will work closely with healthcare staff to mitigate the effects of work-based trauma and provide expert psychological support to those who need it most.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological consultations with managers, leaders, and other professionals to help mitigate the impact of work-based trauma.
- Conduct one-to-one assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver trauma therapy for healthcare staff affected by work-based trauma.
- Design and deliver workshops and reflective spaces to help teams reduce the effects of work-based trauma.

Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Highly developed skills in providing consultation to other professional groups.
- Strong knowledge of mental health issues, including trauma.

Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, but flexible working arrangements can be discussed. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
