Job Title: Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to join our team at Access Appointments Consultancy Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships in the Hospitality/Tourism industry. With excellent communication skills, fluency in both English and Japanese is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare action plans and identify specific targets to drive business growth.
  • Present and sell our services to current and potential clients, showcasing our expertise and building strong relationships.
  • Create customized travel plans in accordance with client requirements, ensuring seamless experiences.
  • Research and recommend top options for hotels, attractions, and dining, catering to diverse client needs.
  • Obtain quotations for flights, entertainment, events, accommodations, meeting rooms, transfers, and other related services.
  • Develop engaging presentations, proposals, quotations, and sales contracts that exceed client expectations.
  • Follow up with potential clients to secure orders and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet client needs for tours, providing exceptional value and service.
  • Collect payments and manage invoicing processes efficiently.
  • Assist as a Tour Escort (group travel in Japan) when required.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive sales calls/visits to acquire new clients.
  • Utilize presentation software such as PowerPoint, Excel, or Word to create compelling presentations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English and Japanese (native/business level).
  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in Sales and Operations, with a minimum of a few years of experience.
  • Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Able to develop new business opportunities.
