Job Title: Bars and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Bars and Events Coordinator to join our team at Northumbria Students Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of events, managing venue operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of events, including setup, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage venue operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, security, and risk management.

What You'll Need:

  • A degree in Hospitality, Events Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the student union or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly.

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
