About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Bid Manager to join our team at Gregory Distribution Ltd. As a key member of our Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the development and submission of high-quality bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement winning bid strategies to align with our business development plans and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the creation of clear, concise, and persuasive bid proposals that meet the requirements and guidelines of each tender.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop compelling and competitive bids.
  • Manage and maintain a library of bid responses, ensuring all information is current, relevant, and aligned with our company's house style.
  • Develop and share best practices, improving content, messaging, and processes to enhance our bid management capabilities.
  • Conduct research and support the business development team to source the best-in-class solutions for our company.
  • Generate monthly reports analyzing tender activity and suggesting improvements to our bid management processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bid management within the warehousing/transport and logistics industry.
  • Member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) is advantageous.
  • Experience developing and implementing winning bid strategies.
  • Experience leading multiple, concurrent bids.
  • Experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple bids.
  • Experience championing, developing, and presenting best-in-class bids and tenders processes.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and process-minded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to liaise at all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
