About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Bid Manager to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the development and submission of bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the creation of winning bid strategies and proposals that align with our business development plans and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to develop compelling and competitive bids that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage and maintain a library of bid responses, ensuring all information is current, relevant, and compliant with our house style.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to secure them.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the quality and efficiency of our bid management operations.
  • Manage and monitor budgets and spending to achieve planned objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bid management, preferably within the warehousing/transport and logistics industry.
  • Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to develop and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to liaise at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
