Job Title: Nuclear Safety Inspector - Control and Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Inspector to join our team as a Control and Instrumentation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and inspecting the adequacy of control and instrumentation systems in nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and assessments of control and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the safety and effectiveness of control and instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address safety concerns and issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on control and instrumentation systems to licensees and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering or physics.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution, such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
  • Proven experience in control and instrumentation systems, preferably in a nuclear or high-hazard industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
