Job Title: Senior Nurse Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Leader to join our Cardiothoracic Critical Care team at Southend University Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Nurse Leader, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading the team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Cardiothoracic Critical Care team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
