Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Neonatal Nurse Leader to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the provision of nursing care to meet the needs of level 1, level 2, and level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Patients in accordance with statutory requirements, Trust and Directorate policies.
  • Participate in the management of the Neonatal Unit in the absence of a Senior Charge Nurse, demonstrating sound organizational skills.
  • Assist with budgetary control at ward level.
  • Contribute to creating an environment that fosters the education and development of all staff.
  • Provide effective support and guidance to senior and junior staff.
