About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our team at St Luke's Hospice. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff, promoting evidence-based practice and best practices in palliative care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification and NMC pin number.
  • Experience in palliative care nursing, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of palliative care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Advanced clinical assessment and diagnosis skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
