Senior Offshore Technician

Principle Power is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Offshore Technician to join our team. As a Senior Offshore Technician, you will be responsible for performing installation, commissioning, and O&M activities for several WindFloat projects in Europe.
Main Responsibilities:- Plan and execute IMR activities on WindFloat platforms and associated equipment to ensure continued reliability and performance.
- Support project teams in other locations, including planning, refinement of procedures, and on-site operations.
- Diagnose and address technical issues and faults in WindFloat systems, making on-the-spot repairs as needed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safety-first culture among the crew.
- Collect data on platform performance and maintenance activities, identifying trends and optimizing maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and track component health through condition monitoring, remote diagnostics, and onsite inspection.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians to enhance their skills and safety awareness.
- Participate in recurrent work-related training and assist in building a local operations team.
- 5 years' experience in offshore environments.
- Hold a recognized apprenticeship/NVQ 3 in Electrical or Mechatronics disciplines with strong technical expertise and experience.
- Possess a 'Safety First' mentality and excellent trouble-shooting ability.
- Strong attention to detail and execution excellence, good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including providing clear instructions and sharing safety updates.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and basic computer operation skills.
- Authorized to work in the UK and fluent in spoken and written English.
