Senior Offshore Technician

Join our team as a Senior Offshore Technician and take on a challenging role in the offshore wind energy industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our floating wind turbines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and faults in wind turbine systems, making on-the-spot repairs as needed.
- Ensure strict safety protocols and guidelines are followed, promoting a safety-first culture among the team.
- Collect and analyze data on platform performance and maintenance activities to identify trends and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with onshore support teams, fellow technicians, and management to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in offshore environments.
- Hold a recognized apprenticeship/NVQ 3 in electrical or mechatronics disciplines with strong technical expertise and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and execution excellence, good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Excellent trouble-shooting ability and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Basic computer operation skills and ability to generate and interpret computer data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of data analysis related to maintenance activities and performance.
- GWO BST certified.
- Confined Space Entry Awareness with Breathing Apparatus.
- Confined Space Rescue.
- Chester step and OEUK medical.
- OPITO Authorized Gas Tester.
