Job Title: Homelessness Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

This role is part of the Housing Strategy Group in the Glasgow City Council's Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability department. As a Homelessness Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Council's response to housing emergencies. Your key objectives include working closely with partners to identify and progress actions that alleviate housing and homelessness pressures.

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in preparing governance frameworks. A temporary position for up to 3 years, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Council's response to housing emergencies
  • Work with partners to identify and progress actions alleviating housing and homelessness pressures
  • Prepare and oversee governance frameworks for project management activities
