About the Role


We are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park as a Women's Support Specialist.


The successful candidate will engage and support women being held on remand, addressing their immediate needs and ensuring a robust plan of support is put in place.


The role involves managing a comprehensive caseload and undertaking needs assessments for each woman, utilizing a trauma-informed approach to engage and support.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a comprehensive caseload of women being held on remand at HMP Eastwood Park
  • Undertake needs assessments for each woman to identify immediate and long-term support requirements
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to address the holistic needs of women
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective and efficient support services
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of group interventions and outreach services
