Keyworker for Women in Custody

The Nelson Trust is committed to providing high-quality support services to women in custody, helping them to address their trauma and achieve positive outcomes. As a Keyworker for Women in Custody, you will play a vital role in delivering this support, working closely with women being held on remand at HMP Eastwood Park.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with women in custody and assessing their needs to develop a comprehensive support plan.
• Delivering one-to-one support, outreach, and group interventions to help women address their trauma and achieve long-term lasting change.
• Working collaboratively with other agencies to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support for women upon release.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to making a difference to women's lives. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £23,000 - £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a 6% employer contribution to your pension scheme and 25 days' annual leave plus statutory holidays.
