As a Streetworks Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and compliance, meeting and exceeding financial, customer service, quality, and service level agreement requirements. You will work independently, but within a framework with other Street Furniture Supervisors, coordinating the efforts of Street Furniture based engineers and contractors.

You will be the engineer's first point of contact in resolving technical and process issues, providing logistical support to engineers, and liaising with the Technical Services Manager to coordinate resource for annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training and development needs within the team.
  • Be the engineer's first point of contact in resolving technical and process issues.
  • Work independently, but within a framework with other Street Furniture Supervisors.
  • Liaise and coordinate with local authorities, including applications for Highways notices.
  • Apply knowledge in a range of technical situations, making personal judgements on how to achieve best quality, cost, and time objectives.
  • Undertake normal work duties of an Assets Engineer within your geographic area.
  • Create a culture of support, cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork across the Assets product.
  • Bring support to the Technical Services Manager to ensure Safety, Compliance, Efficiency, and Technical Solutions.
  • Have comprehensive technical knowledge of the Street Furniture & Assets product and processes.
  • Be computer literate, particularly in Excel and Outlook email.
  • Be able to understand and provide high levels of customer service and to build relationships.
  • Have good commercial and business awareness and be innovative.
  • A full manual UK driving licence is required.
