About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Facilities Manager to lead in maintaining the daily operations of facilities within a public sector organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing facilities management policies and procedures, as well as managing the function.

About the Organisation

Our client is a respected public sector organisation based in the UK, employing over 200 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Facilities Management team to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Develop and implement Facilities Management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities.
  • Coordinate space planning and manage office moves.
  • Prepare and manage the budget forecast and management for all services.
  • Manage team performance.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
About You
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • NEBOSH knowledge of Health & Safety legislation & statutory requirements.
  • Change management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection Act.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience.
