Facilities Manager Property Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Facilities Manager to lead in maintaining the daily operations of facilities within a public sector organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing facilities management policies and procedures, as well as managing the function.
About the OrganisationOur client is a respected public sector organisation based in the UK, employing over 200 people.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Facilities Management team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement Facilities Management policies and procedures.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities.
- Coordinate space planning and manage office moves.
- Prepare and manage the budget forecast and management for all services.
- Manage team performance.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management or a related field.
- NEBOSH knowledge of Health & Safety legislation & statutory requirements.
- Change management experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of Data Protection Act.
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Microsoft Office 365 experience.
- A competitive daily rate of between 240 to 300 per day.
- An opportunity to make a tangible impact in a large public sector organisation.
- 6 Month contract with potential to be extended.
