Clinical Nurse Specialist

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its team at North Metro Knoxville Medical. This role is responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing nursing care, and promoting patient independence in a mental health setting.
The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree or better in Nursing or a related field and certification as a registered nurse. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field is essential.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.
- Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

At Grandview Medical Center, we offer competitive compensation packages, including a salary range of $68,000 - $92,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
