Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves end-to-end payroll management, preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls, and liaising with HMRC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll administration, knowledge of CIS and payroll legislation, and excellent communication skills.

  • End-to-end payroll experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
  • Knowledge of CIS, payroll legislation/HMRC requirements
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Accurate, methodical and organised
  • Good IT skills, experience of Sage, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing BACS payments for each individual client's pay-date including BACS remittance payments as appropriate.
  • Liaising with other teams regarding client payrolls as appropriate.
  • Completing paperwork on behalf of clients with regard to PAYE, NIC or any other query.
  • Answering routine client queries regarding payroll, PAYE, NIC, and escalating more complex queries to supervisors, or responding with their assistance, as appropriate.
  • Liaising with HMRC
