Exceptional Residential Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our care team at Henderson House Care Home in Dalgety Bay, Fife.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the values and ethos of our home by assisting residents with daily routines, encouraging independence, and prioritizing their overall health and happiness.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Empowering residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily tasks.
  • Providing personalized care to meet each resident's unique needs and preferences.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean living environment, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assisting with nutritional support, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
  • Encouraging social interactions among residents and staff, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Upholding the dignity and respect of each resident, treating them with kindness and compassion.

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £24,220 per year, based on a 22-44 hour contracted week and an hourly rate of £12.10.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • SQP Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or transferable skills
  • A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service
