We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker - Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local people living in Dunfermline and surrounding areas.
About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you will deliver award-winning care to support our clients in their own homes, maintaining their independence, dignity, and self-worth. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to develop new skills and take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as required
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Conduct housekeeping tasks
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude at all times
- A responsible, dedicated, and flexible approach to your work
- Pay rate: £12-£13.84 per hour, plus paid mileage
- Flexible hours that work for you
