Job Summary:

Quick Staff UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production sites, managing a team of production staff, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our food manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality, working closely with the production team and other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are investigated and addressed.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that all relevant documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, working closely with the production team and other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food manufacturing and production operations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including production staff, management, and customers.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies, with the ability to ensure compliance and implement processes to improve safety and reduce risk.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and improvement.
