Commercial Services Lead

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Services Lead to join our team in the Defence sector. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for developing supplier management strategies to maximise commercial leverage.
Your primary objective will be to examine risks to project commercial success and implement appropriate mitigations. You will also be accountable for developing and implementing effective contract and supplier management strategies to extract maximum value from contracts.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement, contract management, or contract placement, with some experience in single-source and competitive markets. You should have a strong understanding of programme, portfolio, and project management tools and be able to take ownership of decisions at tender evaluation stage.
A degree in Project Management, Commercial Management, Business, Law, or equivalent is required, along with Chartered status and additional in-depth relevant work experience. NEC contract knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
The salary for this role is £90,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
