Job Title: Stress Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Engineer to join our team at Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and optimized structural design of aircraft seating across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that our products meet regulatory guidelines and requirements.
  • Work with the Engineering, Lead Engineers, and Certification teams to ensure customer briefs are adhered to in accordance with program delivery.
  • Conduct stress and stiffness analysis to determine load cases and structural integrity.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve structural design and reduce weight.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical, aeronautical, or related engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the engineering industry.
  • Ability to undertake fundamental engineering hand calculations and use FEA systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
