Job Title: Stress Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Engineer to join our team, responsible for the safe, reliable, and optimized structural design of aircraft seating across multiple programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering, Lead Engineers, and Certification teams to ensure our products meet regulatory guidelines and requirements.
  • Undertake fundamental engineering hand calculations, including determining load cases and stress/stiffness analysis.
  • Utilize FEA systems to analyze and optimize structural designs.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to milestones and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain excellent planning and organizational skills.
Requirements:
  • A mechanical, aeronautical, or related engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in using FEA systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
