Lead a supportive team at Active Care Group
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Kingly House in Hinkley, Leicestershire. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the running of the shift, delegating and planning activities and responsibilities to staff as appropriate, and dealing with any issues and problems as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects their privacy and dignity and promotes independence
- Administer prescribed medication in accordance with relevant procedures, individual care plans, and risk assessments
- Help in the care of the residents' physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the home
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders
- Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights
Requirements:
- QCF/NVQ level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or relevant work experience
- A genuine interest in providing person-centred care
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care sector/mental health an advantage
